"Two black males with one wielding a handgun entered the Valero gas station, located at 1500 E. Sprague Street in Winston-Salem Nov. 27 at 9pm. According to the police report, the armed suspect demanded money and cigarettes while the unarmed suspect acted as a lookout at the front door.
After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled on foot.
Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the armed robbery call and talked to the victim Erika Denise Blackwell of 3510 Courtland Drive, who described the event.
Ms. Blackwell was not injured during this incident.
This case has been referred to Criminal Investigations
Division.
