HIGH POINT CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU HOSTS LOCAL BEER TASTING

"HIGH POINT, N.C.,  – In honor of North Carolina Beer Month, the High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau (HPCVB) is hosting a special Last Tuesday event on April 26, from 5 to 7 p.m.  This free event will feature local brews for guests to sample.

Carolina Brewery, headquartered in Holly Springs, will be the featured brewery in attendance. They have been in business since 1995 and have several year-round beers, including a Carolina Pale Ale, Brown Ale, India Pale Ale and Hop Roar.  Their seasonal beers include Dark Crystal, Spring Bock, Summer Ale, Oktoberfest and Winter Porter. Guests must be 21 years of age to participate in the tasting.

“Find your new favorite brew with us just as the weather heats up,” says Nancy Bowman, director of sales and marketing for the HPCVB. “Stop by next week to celebrate local breweries as they bring their very best samples to you.”

Support local businesses while sampling some great brews. For just $1.99, attendees can purchase a hot dog from Lazy Dog’s Hot Dogs to perfectly complement the beers available.
